The Seekers era un grupo de Australia con influencia en la música pop y folk. Se formaron en Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, en 1962. Ellos fueron el primer grupo australiano  de música Pop en lograr una importante carta de ventas y un gran éxito en el Reino Unido y los Estados Unidos. Sus intergarntes fueron: Judith Durham, Voz Principal; Athol Guy: contrabajo, voz; Keith Potger, guitarra de doce cuerdas, banjo y voz; así como  Bruce Woodley: guitarra, mandolina, banjo y voz.

 

Dentro de sus grandes éxitos que tuvieron en Gran Bretaña y Australia en el decenio de 1960 estaban: “I'll Never Find Another You”, “A World of Our Own”, “The Carnival Is Over”, “Someday, One Day·, “Walk With Me”, “Morningtown Ride”, “When Will the Good Apples Fall” y "Emerald City". Otro tema que habrá que destacar es el de “I Am Australian”, que se ha convertido en un himno no oficial de Australia, sin faltar por mencionar otro gran éxito. “Georgy Girl” (canción de la película del mismo nombre). El grupo, aunque parcialmente retirado, sigue ofreciendo  presentaciones esporádicas teniendo un gran éxito donde incluyen otros tema de un grupo afín, como el de Peter Paul and Mary Cantando: “Lemon Tree” y “Puff the Magic Dragon”. Ellos son: The Seekers.
